Kira and Nils oscillate effortlessly between guitar sounds, gripping percussion and the hypnotic sound of the kora, a 21-string African harp.
In refined, yet simple and clearly arranged songs, they sing about the big and small themes of human existence, with voices that sometimes float transparently and vulnerably through space, then again ride wildly and with earthy power on vibrant rhythms.
